Why does money matter so much?

Money not being everything but gifting freedom

Following a couple of months after covid-19 pandemic disturbed our life, my anxiety level spiked up.

" What am I supposed to do for years to come especially when I get older? "

" Is my(our) future secured enough to live a life the way I used to before 2019? "

Those kinds of self-doubt has spun around my head so much I was very desperate for doing something I can do to mitigate uneasy mind and very gloomy vision.

This came all the way down to marshalling my finance.

I’m not rich at all. I spent money every day without thinking well and even ever thinking to save money, yeah never coming up with the word “save” while spending money in a don’t-care manner.

I don’t say money is only a big factor that determines your happiness.

More often than not, I usually hear some folks say “It’s not about money. Money doesn’t matter whether you are happy or not.” Yeah it’s true as at the end of a day, it’s in your hand to define what happiness is. For sure, your mindset has a massive effect on what really makes you happy.

But it means you have “FREEDOM” to say that. Even people who say that would spend any money on something at least once a year, wouldn’t they?

I remember one day I read an article on a website. It was about how Warren Buffet is not lavish but economical and I stanned for him. There’s one and only thing money can buy, according to him. It’s “freedom.”

When you say it’s not about money on what makes you happy, you are very much secured by money you have. Would you dare to say “it’s not about money so I dumped money over the pacific ocean since I need none of them ?” Sounds like a step to being de-hypocritical.

So, the point is money may probably power hypocritical good words running your mouth.

That is to say, at some point, money gives freedom where you can say whatever you want to.

But you don’t have to be rich. Substantial amount of money you amass will power your future freedom on what you hope to pursue when you get old.

Now that you know how unstable this world is, it’s up to you as you firm your foundation base that benefits you to bring a freedom where you’re quite likely to mean what you wanna say.
